Hi,

isn't it possible that someone writes a short prg/deamon that writes the 
system load, idle time, memory and swapspace usage multiplexed as 8-bit words 
to /dev/lp1 to realize a systemdisplay in BeBox style for the RiscPC. The 
necessary hardware to decode it and drive the LED lines can be developed by me.

It would be nice to have this kind of system monitoring under RiscOS too.
