Some time ago someone mentioned that the CMOS clock of their
machine was getting set to the correct time apart from the year which was
being set to 2000.
I experienced this problem after doing an rdate to syncronise the system
clock with one of the demon time servers. Removing the rdate command
prevents the clock corruption. The clock curruption did not occur until I
rebooted the machine.
ISTR a while back on current-users that someone had remove some code
dealing with real-time-clocks. Could this be a side effect of those changes?
