Maybe this is already discussed before, but I am just new to this maillist.
The problem is the installation of RiscBSD sa110-4958.
During checking the hardware I get after the sd0 check the check for CDRom
drives but the installation procedure gives an error message namely:
sfasinstr: Unexpected disconnection
sfasinstr: u5 s2 p0 f201 c12
This happens 3 times and after this another error message namely:
sfasinstr: Unexpected disconnection
sfasinstr: u6 s2 p0 f201 c12
also 3 times.
The first is I think for the SCSI CDRom drive connected as logical ID 5 and
the second for the SCSI CDRom drive connected with logical ID 6.
I started up the normal procedure as written in the installation and FAQ
guide. The files are on PDCD4 in cdfs::0.
My hardware is:
RiscPC600 with OS 3.70 rompatch 3.70/2 and a StrongARM (with original Conner
406 mB HD), 24 mb DRAM and 2 mB VRAM, HCCS 16 bit soundcard, Cumana SCSI 2
(Host ID 7), Syquest removable HD 270 mB (ID 0), Toshiba SCSI CDRom XM 3601
(ID 5), Toshiba SCSI CDRom XM 5201 (ID 6), PCCard.
How can I solve this problem?
TIA.
