Thanks to both Neil andPaul for the systat & top suggestions - i 
didnt know either existed :o/

Bascially i was asking because of checking whether RiscBSD as a news 
server could handle more than news.* and comp.* hierarchies.  Systat 
and top are good for snapshots but dont seem to record how things 
progress over time.  Or maybe i havn't looked at them closely enough 
yet (man pages here i come ;o)
