I am currently installing FreeBSD as a server for Acorn NC.
However, there is no DOS in my house, so I wrote the
boot floppy from StrongARM NetBSD, using "dd" the standard way.
The floppies were formatted as "DOS" under RiscOS.
This did not work. It looks light track 1 might be O.K., or
a few more, but it just hangs, and that also goes for RedHat
Linux, except when I try a floppy written from a PC.
So, there appear to be a problem. Is it with NetBSD or
with RiscOS formatting? Any idea? Any suggestion?
