It's all right, I managed to fix it on my own, so I'm quite pleased with
myself. I found a line in it that said rc_configured=NO so I changed it
to YES and away I went :-).
BTW, connected with this, I found a bug in /usr/local/sbin/net_config.
There's an esac at the end of config_ether() which shouldn't be there. I
don't know the shell language very well, but removing the offending line
seemed to do the trick.
