Hi folks,
after upgrading to the latest NetBSD/arm32 snapshot (Oct 1st) I have two
problems:
- XEmacs says on startup that its memory is exhausted.
I played around with the ulimit settings but that didn't help. Here are my
current settings
voss@yoda:/home/voss > ulimit -a
core file size (blocks) unlimited
data seg size (kbytes) 131072
file size (blocks) unlimited
max locked memory (kbytes) 57168
max memory size (kbytes) 57168
open files 64
pipe size (512 bytes) 1
stack size (kbytes) 2048
cpu time (seconds) unlimited
max user processes 80
virtual memory (kbytes) 133120
I'll try if recompiling helps.
- telnet has core dumped before I played around with the ulimit settings :
voss@yoda:/home/voss > telnet
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
Now the same binary works ok. Isn't that strange?
voss@yoda:/home/voss > telnet
telnet>
All this on a 64 MB RAM RiscPC with SA110.
voss@yoda:/home/voss > uname -a
NetBSD yoda.in-berlin.de 1.3H NetBSD 1.3H (YODA) #26: Sun Oct 4 13:29:55 CEST 1998
root@yoda.in-berlin.de:/usr/src/sys/arch/arm32/compile/YODA arm32
Any ideas what might be wrong?
Regards,
Stefan
