As Richard pointed out, it also has problems with LDM at the end of a page.

These libraries apparently compiled with LDM at the end of a page somewhere
in the code. `Dumb luck.'

I'd hazard a guess that if you started doing some significant swapping,
you'd find that the same programs will crash even if they started up OK.
