With the last few changes I checked in this morning, my diskless Shark
has now:

* run crashme for 6 hours,
* built kdelibs (with that heinous C++ code that makes egcs chew
  memory),
* built GENERIC kernels with `make -j6' and `make -j8',
* played high-quality MPEG audio.  B-)

Looks good here...
