Yes, I think so. This is what I suggested to Kevin Bracey 4 months ago
(for RISC OS 4), as he said there was no work around.

But the memory manager should cope with all the possible cases: I think
that it should stop getting the pages after N consecutive pages (e.g.
N = 10). In such a (very rare) case, there could be a crash, but this
program could be dealt with by the user later and possibly modified.
