Hi,

has anyone managed to install RiscBSD on a 10.1 GB IBM HDD connected to
the simtec ide card?

I tried release 1.4 and 1.3.2, but both failed.

1. RiscBSD 1.4:

After following the installer and finally accepting "mydisk" as name for
my NetBSD disk the installer reports:

uid 0 on /: out of inodes
/: create /symlink failed, no inodes free
Could not open /etc/disktab
sysinst terminated

2. RiscBSD 1.3.2:

The instalation script reports during the installation process:

labeling disk wd1 ... wd1: no disk label
newfs: ioctl (WDINFO): no such process
newfs: /dev/rwd1e: can't rewrite disklabel


- partition scheme: total    19650 cyl (10.1GB)
		    RiscOS   0-16236
		    RiscBSD  16237-19649 (root: 64, swap: 400, /usr:
remaining space)
		

Any ideas????
