I did do this in the end when I found a 1.3.2 install kernel, and just
used the 1.4 sets and then a 1.4 kernel when I did this. I did have to
do a MAKEDEV all after I'd used sed to change RC configured to YES along
with other bits and then rebooted, but it generall works. I need to get
a new, large harddisk and then install a new version on to that at some
point.
