Hmm, while this may be needed for the partition table format used by
Linux/arm (don't have any idea about this), AFAICT this is handled ok
by mbrlabel for PC Linux disks.  Note that Linux on PCs uses standard
MBR partitions and extended partitions to manage disk space.

Just to clarify things a bit.
