I run NetBSD 1.5 on my A7000+. At 800 by 600 you get some rubbish
at the bottom of the screen all the time. This seems to be a
feature. There is no problem at 640 by 480 or 1024 by 768.

There's a patch for this one. I used to suffer from this problem
but after applying the patch everything has been fine and I have
had no problems rebooting RISC OS. Unfortunately I do not have the
number of the problem report to hand so it will be case of looking
through the arm-32 prs to find it.
Also, you will need a patch for the kernel if you want to run an
X server on your A7000+. When I tried it it resulted in a
kernel panic. Richard Earnshaw developed a patch for me but I do
not know if he opened a problem report for it.
