has anyone had any luck installing NetBSD when using ICD Pro Utilities
(as opposed to AHDI) for their drives?
I've got ICD installed on my drive & am having problems when trying to
install NetBSD. I found out that ICD has a "AdSCSI" host adapter that
connects to the atari. Drives on this bus are numbered from 0-7. Drives
attached to the scsi port of a TT are then numbered 8-15. Since i don't
have the host adapter, my drives are attached to the TT scsi port.
Apparently the NetBSD installation program doesn't like these higher
numbered scsi ids.
I guess i could reformat my drives with AHDI, though i'd like to avoid
this. Anyone know of a workaround?
thanks
