thanks for the info.  I'm still not sure how I should address the LAN port,
nor what I should do when I get there ... a man -k device yields nothing.

Yes I think all ISDN modems (or rather TAs = Terminal Adapters) do rate
adapting.  I'll be finding out more about this in the near future, as
I've just moved to an apartment where my new neighbour works for CISCO -
and has an ISDN line and a TA/router in his home. :)
