In the 1.4 release, there was a rather unfortunate mistake in the register
settings of the et4000 card (_not_ et6000/et6100). According to Dave Berger
all you should see with on the Hades is a screen of random black&white
graphics. The problem was introduced with the new pci-vga init sceme
somewhere between 1.3I and 1.4. Anyways, for those of you compiling your
own kernels, fetch: .../NetBSD-current/src/sys/arch/atari/pci/pci_tseng.c
from your favorite source mirror to get it fixed.

While I'm here: NetBSD/atari -current also has support for the 3C590 pci
ethernet on the Hades (but you are all checking out the port-page regularly
right ;-)
