Re: bootloader issue

I will check the file system type on my next install.

I was about to try the previous test kernel:
http://www.ceres.dti.ne.jp/~tsutsui/netbsd/atari-HEAD-20090105/
..but I see there is a sysinst.fs.gz as well as a sysinst1.fs.gz. Which one do I want?

After that, I'll zero the drive and do a clean install of the latest HEAD release (or a different one if you'd prefer), then image the drive and post it online.

Ok, I tried ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200901090000Z/atari/
and it also hits the "enter os-type" prompt at the bootloader.

Hmm I'm afraid I put some botches.

Note you need to specify ffsv1 for root file system type
(I think it's default though) because bootloader doesn't
recognize ffsv2 (UFS2) partition.
