At least VT8237 (actually VT6212L) USB seems to work on my Qube2700.
(though not heavily tested)
VT6306 Firewire is also probed, but I don't have any devices to test it.

Note it looks my card (combo with USB, Firewire and Gig-Ethernet)
consumes too much power and it won't work with an internal IDE disk.
(my qube gets reset right after the devices are probed or initialized)

Furthermore, GENERIC doesn't have those devices so you have to
compile your own custom kernel.
