The PS2 has 2 very standard usb ports, my friend plays UT with his pc mouse 
and keyboard.  As for the XBox, it too uses 4 USB ports for the controller, 
Bill Gates confirmed this at his CES Keynotes speach.  Its physical 
connections are just different.
