i think one of the best uses for this would be for
people that currently have only a dreamcast as an
internet connection, if they were able to use this
they could do many things that are currently difficult
or impossible with the net utilities that are
included. of course the obvious problem with this is
that they need to have access to a cd burner. more
often than not they will have access to a burner and
are willing to use it to get better net utils. i think
bringing the usefulness of netBSD to the regular DC
user is a very good use.
most imortant on this end as far as dev is concerned
is 
a) graphical browser with java support
b) an irc client
c) streaming audio/video player for use with broadband adaptor
