Actually, its mainly used on smaller networks to help prevent DoS =
attacks (sometimes it works, but you all know that there are ways around =
such things if you really try). I'm actually surprised you got on=20
with that host. Generally, we are cautious of foreign domains (.hu, .de =
and .nl in particular) due to tremendous amounts of exploited hosts.
If you want more information Hubert, get in contact with me and I'll see =
what I can dig up about hostmasking :)
