umm... are you currently running a unix of some kinda?  If you are things are
pretty much the same with BSD as linux for example... however you will need
to install the right package if you wan colorls :-)

If you want specific netbsd info go to www.netbsd.org/Documentation and read
the netbsd guide.  Also www.freebsd.org has some documents on converting from
linux to BSD if that is your case...
