I have the lik-sang cable plugged between my DC and my windows laptop serial 
port.  Using term program N/8/1/9600 no flow control.

When I boot off of disc 1 (bootable kernel disc) I get no output whatsoever. 
  Nothing.

Someone has suggested that this is because the lik-sang cable requires the 
addition of a null modem connector ?

Can anyone comment on this either way ?  Any comments appreciated.
