Did you extract the hpcshc coff sets from here:
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/arch/hpcsh/snapshot/20010117-hpcsh-sh3el-coff/
?

If I remember correct, the image should be quite a bit
smaller than that. I included the tgz files in mine,
and I think it was something like 400 megs but I could
be wrong...
