Hello,

I have same CD-R drive, CD-W54E firmware revision 1.1Y. I've not
scceeded in making bootable CD of NetBSD-dreamcast yet. But I could
Linux DC bootable CD-R with this drive. I did that several month ago.
So I'm missing something. The steps I follow is the following.
1) Get the files from ftp://ftp.m17n.org/pub/super-h/dreamcast/
2) de-archive dreamcast-linux....tar.bz2
3) edit master.sh (I attached diff at end.)
4) run master.sh
Here is my configuration:
o NetBSD-1.5.1 or 1.5.2 for i386 (I can't remember exact number.)
o Dreamcast bought on 2001-08-03 in Osaka JAPAN. (Osaka is 2nd
largest city in Japan.) HKT-3000 NTSC J. Serial number is
011475037114. No date of manufacture. There is a "MIL CD is not
usable." print on card board box.
o ACER CD-R80 700MB 1x ~ 12x Mulit-Speed part no. 99.03546.001 46.03542.001
I guess I should be able to create netbsd-dreamcast bootable CD-R with
the same configuration, but I could not yet.
Hope this info helps.
Regards,
chitianzi
