I get an uneasy feeling whenever I look at:

The page looks a touch suspicious so I wanted to know if anybody had
attempted this modification and what the results were.  Especially
useful would be manufacture dates and serial numbers to try and clarify
which models this will and will not work for.

Also, the page makes mention of two people having contacted the author
with the claim that their Dreamcasts are capable of booting CD-RW discs
without modification, has anybody else discovered this?
