Ahh, still no swap. I built a swapfile in / though and
every time I'm booting I'm turning it on using
swapctl.
I've tried a few things, and no matter what I still
get:
dreamcast# swapctl -A
mount_nfs: can't access /home/dreamcast/dcswap/swap:
Permission denied
swapctl: 192.168.1.7:/home/dreamcast/dcswap/swap:
mount failed
Funny how it can mount / just fine, but not swap. I
have it set exactly like how you have it in the
examples too. Once again, here's my /etc/exports file
on the server:
/home/dreamcast/dc -maproot=root dreamcast
/home/dreamcast/dcswap -maproot=root -alldirs
dreamcast
And here's the /etc/fstab file on the dreamcast:
192.168.1.7:/home/dreamcast/dc / nfs rw,auto 0 0
192.168.1.7:/home/dreamcast/dcswap/swap none swap
sw,nfsmntpt=/swap 0 0
/kern /kern kernfs rw
/proc /proc procfs rw 0 0
/dev/gdrom0c /mnt/gdrom cd9660 ro,noauto 0 0
Any suggestions?
So I've built a few things so far just for kicks. I
like tcsh, so I built that, zombies because it's one
of my favorite games, and lynx. Lynx took a few times,
it failed a few times causing a reboot, but if I kept
on trying it eventually worked.
Fun fun!
Andy
