Subject: Build thyself?

I tried building the dreamcast world but I got a
complaint from some program (don't remember which)
about the compiler not handling C++. Did I do
something wrong? Or is this a restriction?

I started to crossbuild on my FreeBSD machine, but I
get some errors related to this:
/home/andy/src/netbsd/src/tools/cap_mkdb/../../lib/libc/gen/getcap.c:1052:
warning: passing arg 2 of `cgetcap' discards
qualifiers from pointer target type
/home/andy/src/netbsd/src/tools/cap_mkdb/../../lib/libc/gen/getcap.c:
In function `cgetnum':
/home/andy/src/netbsd/src/tools/cap_mkdb/../../lib/libc/gen/getcap.c:1121:
argument `cap' doesn't match prototype
/usr/include/stdlib.h:149: prototype declaration
/home/andy/src/netbsd/src/tools/cap_mkdb/../../lib/libc/gen/getcap.c:1133:
warning: passing arg 2 of `cgetcap' discards
qualifiers from pointer target type
*** Error code 1

There was some hits in the newsgroups about cross
build being broken on FreeBSD so it seems like that's
not fixed yet.

I installed NetBSD 1.6 on another machine I have,
because the only other one I have is the NFS server
for the DC, but it's only a P60 so I didn't want to
wait around that long... Build is running now.

Is the DC ever going to be able to build itself?

Andy
