I've been very sucessful getting binaries (and whole ISO's) loaded over t=
he=20
network using the DC Load IP tool. However NetBSD seems to have some iss=
ues=20
once the kernel loaded, when trying to NFS/BOOTP from the lan adapter.
Sometimes it works great. It seems to find my dhcp server and nfs mounts=
=20
perfectly. However more often then not, it will give me:
mbe0: device timeout
mbe0: device timeout
=2E..
Repeatedly until it fails (then asking for the boot device again). At th=
is=20
point I have to power down the unit and restart, hoping next time it catc=
hes.
Could this be a problem with the lan adapter hardware, or my DHCP server=20
(Alpha, 1.6-STABLE running dhcpd)?
