Because I don't know how to port XFree86 4. :-)

Xdreamcast is ported from Xhpc for NetBSD/hpcmips. Xhpc is based on XFr=
ee86
3.3.6, and it uses wsconsole framework.
By using the same framework at NetBSD/dreamcast, porting was easy for m=
e.
