Well I'd venture to say that there's a bogosity somewhere...

I played around a bit tonight and rebuilt the bootblocks from scratch,
no luck.  So I grabbed the bootblocks off duality, still no luck.  So,
I grabbed duality's kernel and it worked..

I'm willing to bet something needed to be cleaned up in libkern or
something before I built my own kernel...

Anyhow, it's obvious to me now that it's not a problem in the
source but rather just a minor nit in my process (and obviously
Jason's process too).
