What about audio output on hp300's?

The port description says NO.

Ok, but did somebody attempt to support a kind of sound output?

Is it difficult to provide it?

Is there information available on how to programm the hp300 beeper?

Is there maybe a non-NetBSD tool that enables more features of it?

Sometimes it would be nice to receive some audio output 
from the workstation.

It seems that the audio device in hp300's is just a little bit better than
an internal PC speaker, but maybe there could be provided something 
like the PC speaker driver for win31.
And there is also a speaker connector on the back of all the hp300's I 
know (hp400, hp380 and hp360).
