Hello, I'm an author of "sun-rbootd".

  My sun-rbootd (v1.2) now works on Linux, NEWS-OS 4.x and
even works on NetBSD, OpenBSD !!

  sun-rbootd was designed for non-BPF platform such as SunOS/Solaris,
but now it works on BPF platform, and Linux (SOCK_PACKET).

  On Linux, (and also NetBSD/OpenBSD), there has been rbootd already.
But I believe there is some advantage on sun-rbootd, which works
as the same source code for various platforms.
