I did track current for a while after the ELF transition but on a
non-rd, non-apci machine. I'm just waiting for a post-toolchain-work
snapshot, since build-problems can be a real pain on hp300. I also
had a lot of problems with SCSI devices but that has been fixed.

I'm going to try -current in a few days or so.
