Thnx Bernd,
I had allready tried to setup bootp (and afterwards dhcp in stead) ...
I don't know exactly why (yet), but after the RARP reply from my
rarp-server, the HP box send out a a requist to any bootp server, but
it doesn't get a response; neither when using bootp nor dhcp.
18:41:01.361914 rarp who-is HP tell HP
18:41:01.366307 rarp reply HP at hp.godsells.org
18:41:01.538972 hp.godsells.org.1023 > 255.255.255.255.sunrpc: udp 96
Why isn't my bootpd answering, or is it asking something else ? I get
responses from my bootpd by using the bootptest program, so I know
it's working.
Any idea ?
grtz,
gert
