Greetings all...

Given that some of the 800's like the 807 (AKA F10) that I own are the
same PCXS processor as some of the 700's, I have been following this list
with some interest. I suspect that between what I remember of these models
from several years ago, what I have recently read on various sites,
and seen in a few documents, CD's, etc. that I have dug out that the
port may be a bit more generic than just for the 700's.

I am glad I have not had to go through the hassles that you 712 owners
have had. I just had to remember that I had a getty running for a
PPP connection I used several months ago. 8) For general reference,
here is the same information which Eric posted, but for the F10.
Unfortunately, this appears to be across several commands rather than
the single one Eric used, with not all the information being available.

I hate to sound stupid, but where are the boot ROM's located at? I
don't know if I can update mine, but if so, I would not mind being
up-to-date. Unfortunately, every time I go to HP to find something, I
often end up wasting a fair amount of time not finding anything when I
search for older information. 8/

Thanks...
