This cannot be overstated. This project is the stuff that nightmares are
made of. Trying to pry this one-file C program away from the mess of
NetBSD libraries it needs is horrible.
Now, the only problem I'm having are with endianness macros. They're not
defined on Linux, or probably in several other systems. I thought using
the compat stuff with NetBSD would do the trick, but I'm probably not
using that right. It seems to just conflict with the Linux stuff. So,
maybe I can just put in the endian macros in the file by hand?
