It seems that your kernel does not match pbsdboot.exe. Try latest
pbsdboot.exe(pbsdboot.uu). Revison of
sys/arch/hpcmips/stand/pbsdboot/main.c is 1.14.

My WorkPad z50(TYPE 2608-1AU) works fine with Adaptec SCSI
card(APA-1460D) and NE2000 compatible NIC(DE-660 and others).
