There is no such thing as APM hardware. APM is a bios spec only.
The Vr41xx cpus support a course battery level only (very low, low,
good). There's nothing like a battery percentage in the hardware,
unless it is an addon doo-dad. I could go dig in the spec sheets that
I have if there's really a lot of interest...

No harder to lose than a CF card :-) That's why I keep my CF in my CF
<-> pcmcia adapters as much as possible.
