After much trial and error, I finally am able to boot, somewhat.
Now I get the following error:
boot device: wd0
root on wd0a dumps on wd0b
wd0: no disk label
mountroot: trying msdos
mountroot: trying nfs
mountroot: trying ffs
no file system for wd0 (dev 0x100)
cannot mount root, error =3D 79
I tried partitioning as follows, using an OpenBSD workstation:
MSDOS (type 6) =3D 5MB
swap =3D 5MB
BSD4.2 =3D 51MB
And used disklabel under OpenBSD to create the disklabel.
I then ran newfs on wd0a to format the partition, which OpenBSD =
recognises without any problems.
Am I doing something wrong?
I also tried leaving the entire 64MB CF card as MSDOS, with the same =
result. Any ideas anyone?
Brad T.
