One way to get some pointer functionality under the Z50 is to use xmodmap to enable
num-lock mouse pointer functionality and then to remap the numlock keys to to the function
(A1-A12 on the Z50) at the top of the screen. It's an imperfect solution, I'm sure
everyone with a Z50 would prefer the mouse pointer, but it works. That said, the only X
app I really have is ethereal. All of the other really useful network apps are console
based.
All in all I've been extremely happy and impressed with NetBSD on my Z50; I actually
use it for work and play on a regular basis. Everyone how's put work into this has done a
fantastic job.
