i have a VTech Helio.

i have a freebsd box. i'd like to use the freebsd box as my dev box for
hpcmips work.

would this be possible?

is there a discussion somewhere on how to compile the toolchain? i tried
to convince binutils-2.11 to configure for crossdev with mipsel-netbsd and
it said that ld didnt lknow anything about it, is there some patch
repository somewhere?

note that the Helio has a 3912 in it and the source code of the helio's
original os from vtech is available for perusal.

so, the port shouldnt be too challenging.

also, it will not require the use of pbsdboot from wince, because there is
no wince! so i should be able to boot straight into netbsd.
