ummm... error 404 on www.celinux.org... i guess the site is not up yet, or
the content is missing? all i get is a blank page...

this is a good idea though... aside from a devoted programmer in Japan (i
forget the gentleman's name), it appears that nearly all Linux/CE info is
outdated and development efforts have slowed to a crawl or are
non-existent... (AFAIK, but i'd appreciate any new or updated links)...

i think that the hpcmips port of NetBSD and Linux/CE for MIPS can offer
each other some good things (especially on the IBM Z50):

- NetBSD supports more than 16MB RAM in the Z50, whereas Linux can only
use 16MB RAM

- Linux supports audio on the Z50, whereas NetBSD does not

- both support the trackpoint pointer, but Linux also offers a
general-purpose mouse daemon for copy and paste when using the console
(text-only) mode...

i have not tested my collection of PCMCIA and CF cards using Linux, but i
believe wireless operations are supported (including network booting of
Linux)...

for now though, NetBSD does everything i need on the Z50 (even though i'm
also a big fan of Linux)...
