I'm trying to install NetBSD on a Vadem Clio C-1050 and am having some
problems. This is the first I've done anything with NetBSD. I have
experience with SunOS, Solaris and Linux, but when I decided to run a *nix
on a Clio the only distribution that looked like it would support it fairly
well was NetBSD.
I've been trying to make it work for several days. The kernel does not
seem to find anything that is in either the pcmcia or compact flash slots.
I've tried a couple of different CF cards both in the CF slot and with an
adapter in the PCMCIA slot. I've also tried a Lucent Orinoco wireless
network card. I did a quick install of NetBSD on an old 486 laptop and
have no problems using these devices in that. I've tried both the 1.5.2
release and the latest snapshot.
Any suggestions as to where to go from here would be greatly appreciated.
I would prefer not to have to set up a cross compile environment if
possible, but if needed I can do it. Following is the output from the
kernel during boot. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
