I'm running NetBSD 1.6.1 in a NEC MobilePro 780.  Currently, TERM is set to 
xterm.  I'm trying to run naim, a ncurses based chat program that's available 
via pkgsrc.

When I try to start naim, it complains that the terminal doesn't use color.  
Naim suggests several other terminals, including vt100, vt220, vt100-color, 
vt220-color, xterm-color, ansi, etc.

When I try these terminals, either naim claims that they don't support color 
or the system complains that they aren't recognized.

Any advice?
