Last time I tried links-gui on X11 on hpcmips it was so slow that I
could drink several cups of coffee before it was even displaying
anything. But the console version was very quick.

Dillo is working well but still has a threading problem on hpcmips. This
seems to be no longer existant on i386 but hpcmips will freeze on dns
lookups. You can patch dillo to use only one thread by changing one
source line if I remember correctly.
