I have been looking around for a better editor (something besides
emacs) that can run localy on my z50. I need something friendly to fonts
and that plays well with X.

What I really want is something exactly like Pocket Word that comes on the
z50. I could xforward OpenOffice or Kword but I frequently have to move
between two rooms and lose my wireless signal, plus I dont want all those
features.

Does anyone know of something similar that compiles on the z50?

Also has anyone tried Y-Windows or Xfce?
