I asked a week or so ago about the constant hard disk access on my
MobilePro. (My configuration is a PCMCIA 2GB HD, and a wireless CF
card).

Well, after some experimentation, I found that the "disk access" was
actually network traffic.  Another one of those dope slaps to the head.
The CF uses an ATA interface, so the MobilePro "sees" it as a "hard
drive".  Thus, the light blinks when there's network traffic on the ATA
bus.  There is no actual PCMCIA hard drive access going on.  (Duh!)
