Hi,
I have determined that memdiv, my small non-interactive memory allocation
changer (not at present, see below) for Windows CE, could be a useful
little tool to have in the repository after a few changes. To get the
current, versionless (call it 1.0) release, go to
ftp://ftp.romuald.net.eu.org/pub/freesoft/ or ask and I'll mail it to
you. You will see that the following are needed:
* Commenting, indenting of the source (may need help from someone for the
latter)
* Slight optimisation of code - remove code redundancy, unhack generally
* Update to readme to take into account the changes, move license to
source (if you think it's wise)
* Possible transfer of Copyright to NetBSD Foundation, again if necessary
* Add command-line parser and "/silent" switch. The latter will not post
a MessageBox if change is successful and requires no reset (vast majority
of cases). Useful in automation of the process during bootup of a kernel,
for instance, where it is possible when Windows CE starts (EG registry).
Our project may well want to do this.
* Binary compiled generically for MIPS-R rather than model-specific.
Any interest?
Cheers,
Sabahattin
